Lasting Impressions recently installed a beautiful new patio in Salford at the back of a house in the Worsley area of Salford, Manchester. Our clients had a compact space that was nicely sheltered and not overlooked with patio doors leading out into it. They wanted some areas to accommodate plants and flowers but decided to use most of the space for a patio and do without a lawned area which cuts down on maintenance.
They opted to have a pattern imprinted concrete patio. While some might think that pattern imprinted concrete is only suitable for driveways it is actually ideal for paths and patios. For their pattern imprinted concrete patio, our clients chose Ashlar Slate pattern printed in Steadman Buff colour. We then coated the surface with a mahogany release which gives depth and additional light and dark shading. The pattern, colour, and release contribute to producing more intricate and natural looking designs. You can see the lovely results from the photographs included.
